Regardless of where you are going, if you are taking a trip and need to get a rental car to use during your trip, there is no excuse for you not to shop around for the best car rental rate that is available. The reason that I am saying this is because it is quite easy to shop around and find the best car rental rate that is available. I realize that this has not always been true, but now that the Internet is around, you can literally see all of the rates that are being offered from major car rental companies in a matter of minutes.
If you don’t believe me that it is really that easy, just try it out for yourself. Simply open your Internet browser (which I’m guessing you have already done since you are reading what I’m writing on this blog) and pull up a price comparison website (Priceline, Expedia, etc). Once it’s up, enter the details of your trip (when you’re going, where you’re going and when you’re leaving), and the website will do all of the work. Once you submit that info, it’s normally only a matter of seconds before there is a list of the best rates on the screen in front of you.
